When Pro starts to pay off

Pro unlocks CSV and XLSX import and export, higher per-collection document limits and priority support. The moment you need to bulk-import seed data, hand a CSV to a stakeholder or migrate between collections, Pro pays for itself.

When Workspace makes sense

Workspace adds project sharing with role-based access, multiple projects and team billing. If more than one person at your company touches Firestore, engineers plus content, ops or support, Workspace removes the bottleneck of routing every data request through an engineer.

How to choose

Start on Free. Upgrade to Pro the first time you need an import or export. Move to Workspace when a second teammate asks for access. There is no lock-in: your data stays in your own Firestore project the entire time.
