These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of FireSheets, a web application operated by Jowi Digital (KvK 98978705). By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. The service
FireSheets provides tooling to browse, edit, import and export data stored in Google Firestore databases that you connect using your own service account credentials. You remain the sole controller of the data inside your Firebase projects at all times.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity performed under your account. You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter into a contract in your country of residence.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to break any law, to infringe the rights of others, to attack our infrastructure, or to access data that you are not authorised to access. We may suspend access where we reasonably suspect such activity.
4. Plans, payment and Merchant of Record
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can cancel or change your plan at any time from the billing portal.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle is the entity that resells the FireSheets subscription to you, appears as the seller on your bank or credit card statement, issues invoices, collects applicable taxes, and handles all customer service inquiries and returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.
5. Intellectual property
FireSheets, including the software, source code, design, branding, logos and documentation, is and remains the exclusive property of Jowi Digital and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose during the term of your subscription. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute any part of the service. You retain all rights to the data you connect to or process through FireSheets.
5. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the billing page. Once deleted, your connected Firebase credentials and account data are permanently removed. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Liability
FireSheets is provided "as is" and we make no warranties beyond those required by mandatory law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts under Directive 2011/83/EU and Book 6, Title 5, Section 2B of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek). Because FireSheets is a digital service that is made available to you immediately after purchase, by completing checkout you expressly request that performance begins during the withdrawal period and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once we have started providing the service. Independently of this statutory right, our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee in the Refund Policy still applies.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the application. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of FireSheets will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in the district where Jowi Digital is established, unless mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in another court. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please email us first at jowiwebsites@outlook.com so we can try to resolve it. We aim to respond within 14 days. Unresolved complaints can be escalated to the Dutch Autoriteit Consument & Markt (ACM) or, for personal-data issues, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
